Word of the day
(adj.) Very attentive to and concerned about accuracy and detail.
This edition is dedicated to a young lady named Latasha Harlins who loss her life at the tender age of fifteen for being accused of stealing “allegedly” and it still does not sit well with many Americans today. This month we are giving this young beauty her flowers and hoping she has a justified day of remembrance. At sixteen, your life is just starting, and you are trying to figure out who you are as a young girl, and to have it taken away unexpectedly is a tragedy. She would have been 47 years old today.
2020 and 2021 have been the most challenging years our generation have witnessed. We are truly under some heavy decisions. BUT with GOD, all is well. Block out all that mess and let’s regain ourselves after this pandemic, plandemic, panduricane and all that jazz. It is time to get focused on some true intentions about our place in this life. 2022 is really for YOU and just because great things may be coming your way does not mean you are exempt from the challenges that come with them!
Lately, I’ve been on my growth kick and my reading content has expanded into some uncharted territories because I love to write street books. I was not at all surprised when these books ran across my feed or in my email. Trust me, I’ll go easy on you with my book recommendations before I get ratchet with you all.
Set Boundaries, Find Peace a guide to reclaiming yourself by Nedra Glover Tawwab it came highly recommended by one of my favorite authors NAKO. It is detrimental that you get this book. If you have a problem with boundaries, this is your book. The author is a licensed Psychologist, and she gives the facts. Her Instagram is a sacred place, and I would only suggest to those who are willing to take advice follow her.
All About Love by bell hooks, I enjoyed this author’s perspective about love, and it was one of the most thought-provoking books I’ve read this year. Love is not just a romantic thing; it has multiple dynamics.
Do it with INTENTION
What does intention mean?
You haven’t heard of the word trending lately? Intention, intention, intention, INTENTION!
The definition for intention is a thing intended, an aim or plan.
Everything you do is orchestrated by your plan or as Drake say “God’s Plan” there is intention all around you. There is a thing such as someone wanting to do better and one deciding to do better.
What are your intentions this year?
I know all over December 2021 until the very last week many of you have thought about what you are doing in 2022. We have endured so much over the last two it feels almost scarce to set any goals because COVID and his homeboys are out raw dogging the world. Plenty have grown immensely all through the pandemic and the reason being is INTENTION. What we don’t see is what goes on behind the scenes which is why it is called “behind the scenes” we are not privileged to see others’ struggles and trials and error.
Their intentions were growth, and they were specific in all areas and focused on those intentions with work and dedication and most times sacrifice.
Listen, for me, I’m not at the top yet, but it is my intentions to reach great heights with all my people—my real ones. In my mind I should help everybody and be available throughout my whole process and this is a lesson I learned in 2021. Focus on my goals because some people did not care about what I was trying to do to better myself. At this point, it is about accountability, and I hold myself accountable for letting so many people have access to me. I figured my circle out in 2021 and I set a boundary that my tolerance is zero for bull shit cycles.
With all these variants from COVID we need to get to the point of taking good care of our own self and one another. After following a lady on Instagram and OnlyFans named The HOODHEALER she gave a recipe for respiratory steams and how to keep your immune system intact through this pandemic.
This is a respiratory steam that I tried out and it actually works especially sense I have horrible allergies and sinus problems.
The recipe is: oranges, grapefruit, lemon, lime, cinnamon sticks, sage leaves, bay leaf and onions and salt are optional. Use three drops of eucalyptus oil to decongest and is also optional to use. I have noticed some people use rose petals.
Directions: Cut fruit up as you desire and put in all your ingredients and bring it to a boil and stand over it and breathe in for at least ten minutes.
If you are congested or have mucus build up, you may be spitting up mucus or cold depending on your condition. This works fast and when you don’t add the eucalyptus you can drink it with ginger tea if you have a cold or flu, it will make you go to the bathroom and clean you out thoroughly.
You can also pour it into a hot bath and relieve severe inflammatory issues and sinus congestion and colds.
This pot can be covered and reused for at least three days.
Pass this on to a friend or family member to keep the numbers of these variants to a minimum the goal for 2022 is a COVID free world and no more after this. The history of deadly viruses ends this year starting TODAY!
